운수좋은 날 a lucky day

오늘도 하루에 두탕 뛰는 날이었다.

금요일이고, 다니는 검도 도장에서 오늘이 회식이라는 걸 알고 있었다. 그리고 난 퇴근 후 바차타 수업을 듣고 검도는 못하지만 늦게나마 검도 도장 회식에 참여하려고 했다.

It's Friday, and i knew that today was a dinner at the kendo. And after work, I took the bachata class and tried to participate in the kendo dinner even though I couldn't do kendo.

그날은 이상했다.

그날은 약속이 꼬이는 날이었다.

It was a day when my appointment got twisted.

8시 반에 바차타 수업이 있다는 것을 인지하고 회사에서 야근을 해서 늦게 퇴근했는데, 사실 수업은 7시 반에 시작했던 것이다.

I recognized that I had a bachata class at 8:30 and worked overtime at work, so I left work late, but the class actually started at 7:30.

덕분에 바차타 수업은 듣지 못하고 바로 검도 회식을 가려고 했는데, 검도 회식도 사람이 많이 오지 않아서 취소가 됐다고 한다.

I couldn't take the bachata class and was going to go to a kendo dinner right away, but the kendo dinner was canceled because not many people came.

그래도 이왕 온김에

데킬라를 주문해서 반병정도를 먹고 살사바에 있는 사람들이 뒷풀이를 간다고 하길래 따라가서 치킨을 먹고 집에 돌아왔다.

Since I came to Salsa bar, I ordered tequila, ate about half, and the people in Salsa bar said they were going to an after party, so I followed them, ate chicken, and came back home.

내 예상대로 되는게 없던 날이지만 그런대로 그런 운수 좋은 날이었다.

It wasn't a day that went as I expected, but it was a lucky day like that.
