My poem: WHY ALWAYS SHAKESPEARE? || I have joined #CLUB5050

A gainless goal,
Syllabus always Shakespeare,
And other centuries gone

Dead authors,
Young writers discountenanced,
Where is your hope in writing?
Better give up.

I'm giving up on writing,
First mind was right!

We are going nowhere with it,
Peers don't even encourage us
Or comment when we write,

They prefer old brooms,
Foreign authors and frivolous
Entertainments,

Our values lost in the valley
Of the abyss of no return,

I'm giving up on writing,
My inks are now fainty,
I think I write haggardly,

Writing is really not my talent!
I am giving up now!

Don't give up dear youngling,
There's always a time for everything,
Says my true mind.

Though every year Shakespeare
Seems unfair but it's a matter
Of time if you work harder,
Shakespeare might've once

Be discountenanced!
Don't call it discountenance!
It is a taste of time;

A challenge to do better,
To get better and soar higher.

Noted my real mind,
I won't give up on you great ink,
I write for legacy and not for comments,

Awards are Secondary,
It's much more
Substantial to follow your heart!

Don't give up on your dreams,
Only time tells what tommorow
Holds,
Encourage yourself young writers,
Be not a sidelinable sprinter but
A determined blinker.

Though to you all, I ask;
Why always Shakespeare?

Lol! What a question,
When I am writing speech and
Not a poem and poses undesirable
Erotema for who to answer,

Low self-esteem ruins you,
When you write you don't
Encourage yourself,
Why then should others
Encourage you?

Reframe the query like thus,
Why not encourage myself
To beyond Shakespeare?
