You can use social media to dominate yourself or you can dominate others by using it correctly. Many people try to avoid social media as they are sure it kills their free time. Imagine you open tik tok just for 1 second and then you get stuck there for the whole one hour. Youtube understood the power of short easily scrollable videos and introduced shorts. These videos can burn 1 hour of your life without any efforts. You believe that you can disconnect but you can't actually.

We are so obsessed to see what our friends posted on Instagram. But why? I guess, because we feel our connection and we want to share that moment with them. We are eager to leave a nice comment. Now, we have the most powerful tool ever - filters that remove wrinkles, black spots or any skin imperfections. That means that anyone can be beautiful and successful. You can simply post yourself with the glass of wine and the whole crowd of your friends would believe you are doing fine. We can take a bunch of flowers and rake a silky selfie smelling them and make others believe you are in love.

The pictures of certain parts of the body recieve more attention than nobel prize winners. Why? Because people want to satisfy their animal needs. We use social media just so ineffectively. We must understand that social media can bring benefits to everyone but what is the point to see someone's butt? Is it the content that must dominate the social media? Why don't we elevate the trash we see online.
