Greetings from me to you all

In every book we read in our leisure , we have reason for reading it, it's either to entertain our boredom, to source for information on the work we are doing or to acquire knowledge on things etc.

My favorite book is called Moonlight Lady by Onyekachi Peter onuoha

Moonlight Lady talk about the awakening of women's self-consciousness and freedom from discrimination. Ikukuoma is a girl who has hope and ambitions but because of her gender as a female, her father always discriminate her, her father called Mr Chima. Chima still believes that women education ends in kitchen and that's what there village people believe on, Ikukuoma wishes to stop this feminine discrimination that is happening in her community, she strive to conquer all the discrimination, she was only supported by her mother who encourage her when she is being discriminated, she didn't accept the fact about the gender discrimination.

Being determined with her dreams, she didn't give up half way, she makes sure that she reaches goal, she was able to achieve her dreams with different prizes award that she won, she was able to get a name in school which is being called ikuku, as her Pen's name because of her writing skills. After achieving her dreams she got married and gave birth to a daughter.

What I learnt

Reading moonlight lady has really encourage me that women education doesn't end in kitchen, but that female can achieve what we want and become great person in future, both men and women are equal and it's also a lesson to parents to treat there children equal and not being bias . Some tribes in Nigeria still believes it.
I'm giving the author of this book full Mark for his great writing.

Where I found this book
I found the story in my school library I love reading so I always go to the library at my free time to read that's how I came to see the book.
I read the book over and over again because it content was really interesting.
