In the part of the world where I come from, people see teaching as a mere/common profession meant for the low class people.
As such I often received questions like "why be a teacher? What of other lucrative professions? Its teaching not to stressful? Do you enjoy the work at all or are you just doing it?"
No matter the way the questions comes I am convinced and will always respond"I love teaching"

Maybe it's because I love children or because I like helping especially young ones and teaching has given me the opportunities to help them.
The fact is I love my profession so that even with the stress, I have inner joy and satisfaction

True, the teaching profession is not a lucrative profession, so if it were to be just the money, I won't be teaching.

WHAT MONEY IS

Money could be a medium of exchange for a job done.
It could also serve as a reward for a job done.

Part of the truth is, if it weren't for money, we will not be doing the things we do.
At the same time we could do the things we do well because of what drives us to do them. That is where passion comes to play.
Meaning without love for our profession we will not be be better at our different profession and as such not make money. That's why we have role models in each profession.

The fact remains that money cannot give us satisfaction instead it will make us develop greed by wanting it more and more which leads to unsatisfaction

For instance when we make mistakes while working, we do not smile about it, instead we make expression like "gosh! I messed up" showing unsatisfaction.

LOVE WHAT YOU DO

I want to concur to this common saying that

Teaching profession is not a profession for money-mongerers.
