This child

The perfect child she has become
Wears a mask to show the world
Her smiles and seems to everyone
The perfect and happy girl.
Her grades, family, friends
And looks that are yet to die
Hidden underneath the perfect mask
Is someone who tends to cry.
Take away the mask
Of plastic and hidden feelings
You will then see a wonderful soul
Filled with lies and sin.
Pressure, hate, anxiety,
Feelings full of sorrow
Depression, longing, suffering
Will there be a new tomorrow?
She tries to show the world
The life they want from her
Yet deal with what she truly is
They don’t even bother.
She hides her identity
Wearing a false masquerade
Trying to please those she loves
And hoping to find a way.
Yet now I say go look at her,
Upon her grave
A perfect child now gone
From those who dint save.
