Today, I want to share my understanding about our homework that was given by mam @ftz. This is all about " Pronunciation". Now I want to explore everything and learn the topic.

Define pronunciation in your own words.

For me, Pronunciation is how to speak correctly the given word and the letter in a sentence. It means that how we pronounce the word perfectly. I know that it is very hard for me to pronounce the word perfect because my accent is not so good. This is one of the problems why I have very low grades in English class when I was a student.

What is the importance of pronunciation?

The importance of pronunciation is to help to understand the meaning of the words spoken. Using the correct sounds of words you speak will help others to understand what words you are trying to say clearly. Pronunciation is important to proper communication between two or more people because it can help to deliver the words. Using incorrect pronunciation will lead to the message being misunderstood by the receiver.

We can practice proper pronunciation by listening to some authentic speech is one of the best ways to learn. We can record also our speech on the phone or audio so that we know if we have the correct pronunciation of a word.

Research the two websites I mentioned for improving pronunciation and mention which one you have found helpful and why.

I prefer to use the Cambridge Online Dictionary because you can research the full content including English Dictionary, Grammar, Thesaurus Dictionary, and Translation Dictionaries. This can help me to give more practical explanations on how to use the word in a sentence.
