Greetings to you all dear friends and welcome to my assignment post 2 in the graphic design class initiated by @atim1234.

The class two was on introducing the pixelab app.
The teacher @niglys8 did well in explaining the lectures in simple terms. She also left some assignments for us students which I will be attempting in this post.

Assigned question 1

State two differences between the "use image from gallery" option and the "from gallery" option.

Answer

Use 'Image from gallery' option in the add tab
This option causes the background to automatically take the size of the image. When this happens there will be no room for resizing or reshaping the image. The image will cover the background page.
This means that the image will become the background of your design and every other text or design will be on the image. This option can be accessed by clicking the three dots at the top right corner of app page.
The screenshots below shows how to locate this feature and the effect it has in a design.

'From gallery' option

This option gives room for resizing or reshaping the exported image. This means the main background will still be retained while the image is used to design on it.
This option can be accessed by clicking the Add(+) tab at the top left corner.
See the screenshots below to see where you can locate this option and the affect it has in a design.

Similarities between both option

Both are used to add an image to your design directly from your phone gallery.

Assigned Question 2

When two texts are being merged together in the application, what happens?

Answer

Well, the pixels app allows users to merge different texts on their project as one. When the texts are merged, they take the form of an image and thus can be redesigned using the image icon.

Steps on how to merge the texts and what happens when they are merged.

Click on the layer iconScreenshot_2021-09-16-21-11-26.jpg
Click on the tab belowScreenshot_2021-09-16-21-15-02.jpg
Select the texts you want to merge and click on the merge tab![Screenshot_2021-09-16-21-15-47.jpg()
Click OK on the next pop up menuScreenshot_2021-09-16-21-16-01.jpg
Click on layer tab again to exitScreenshot_2021-09-16-21-16-22.jpg
The texts has become an image. Editing can be done now using the image tabScreenshot_2021-09-16-21-17-09.jpg
Adding effect will affect all the texts since they have been merged
