Welcome back to another tutorial post. Today I made a graphite pencil portrait drawing tutorial post. I draw the portrait of a beautiful little kid. To draw the portrait drawing I used mainly graphite pencil..

I think most of the people like to draw picture of portrait drawing. But many of them are not be able to draw. So I'm telling those people to follow my tutorial post and learn how to draw portrait. In my every post I try to share my drawing experience.

And today I'm also going to share how did I made the portrait by graphite pencil. Let's watch the portrait drawing.

Now, Let's introduce with some materials what I used to draw the portrait.

art paper
graphite pencil (2B, 10B)
charcoal pencil (soft)
a hard board ( as base)
cotton buds
eraser
cutter

Now I'm sharing stape by stape drawing process.

At the first stape I managed all the instruments. Then I made the pencil sharp by sharpener. Then I took a piece of art paper and 2b pencil. I displayed the original picture of the kid in my Mobile phone and I pun it front of me.
Then I started to draw on the paper. Firstly I draw the eyes shape and then gradually I draw the shape of nose and lips by 2b pencil.

Then I started to make more details on the face. So now I took 10 b pencil and draw the eyes. The eyes of the girl are something gray coloured so firstly I used 2b pencil to the middle of eye retina and to the corner side I used 10b pencil.
Thus the eyes are looked more beautiful and gray coloured. In this stape I also draw details of the nose and lips.

To the next stape I draw the hair. Hair drawing is the most critical things in the face drawing. We should be more careful when we draw the hair.

Firstly I draw some line on the hair spot and then I used here charcoal pencil. I used soft charcoal pencil here. Because soft charcoal pencil is easy blended and it contain more black colour on the paper. And I played the pencil to the upper side of the head to draw the hair.

Then, at the last stape I also draw some hair on the shoulder. Here I also draw some line by the graphite pencil and then I played soft charcoal pencil.

And then I blend every part of the face and hair. To blend all the spot I used a piece of cotton bud. If the cotton bud stay hard then we have to make it soft, otherwise the blending won't be perfectly.

Finally I draw the dress of the kid girl. And designed it by 10 b pencil. And then I could able to draw the portrait successfully.
