How to meditate
To be honest there is no right way to meditate. Meditation is a practice that can be adapted to personality of a meditator. Some people prefer to meditate with open eyes and some with closed eyes. Some people prefer lotus posture whereas others can relax better meanwhile lying on the bed.
Common basic rules
However, there are some rules that are better to follow. Such as you must keep your spine straight and keep your chest opened and relax your whole body. The most important part is to learn breathing. The main part is not to feel any discomfort or pain. Learn to get deeply relaxed and practice deep and slow breathing.
Let your thoughts go
Maybe this is the hardest part for me. As thoughts are like a train that runs constantly in our minds. We feel trapped and helpless in our own mind but we still can learn to calm down our mind.
Conclusion
Meditation is a personal experience to get more relaxed less anxious and reach harmony within ourselves.
