I'm very happy to tell, that today, after a conviction period, I finally let one of my friend join steem, and steem skill share.

Why it was "difficult"

I don't think in general that it is difficult to convince people to join steem, once you explain that it is possible to earn extra money out of blogging, what is difficult, unfortunately, is to convince "quality" people to join.

In my experience, the people that have contents, a story to tell, or simply an art, are the ones to define "quality people".

These people, normally are experienced, and smart enough to understand that nobody gives you a dime for nothing, and they are suspicious when you mention money, in general they think:

where's the catch?

Explain that there is no catch is the trick for me.

So I needed to explain a bit how everything works, and how he didn't have to invest a dime more than the time to share some of his stories or skills.

The fact he has to use his phone number to register was quite a trick, but at the end he trusted me enough to finally join!

Why try to recruit people?

I wondered to myself the same question, and actually I didn't get at the beginning why I had to expose myself simply to let people join this platform.
I thought maybe I'm working for others benefit!

The reality is that if you are living a nice experience, that is enriching you, and it gives you good vibes and sentiments I think that the right think to do is to spread this possibility with the people you love, and you think they deserve it.
