We teach children about happiness, not perfection

All adults dealing with children need to remember that pursuing perfection does not lead to happiness.

It is normal for parents to want the best from their children, but all adults who deal with children, starting with mothers and fathers, must remember that pursuing perfection does not lead to happiness.

It is important that children are happy, not that they are perfect, especially since perfection does not exist. So let's educate children about happiness, not perfection.

SOURCE

We must never confuse the desire to give children a good education and the desire that they become perfect. If parents demand too much, their children may suffer. It is not certain that all children can become top of the class or football champions because everyone has their own talents and abilities.

The task of parents is to recognize the true talents, abilities and abilities of children to support them and encourage them in order to help them grow better by cultivating their true passions.

Sometimes parents try to give their children everything that they were the first to have as children, for economic reasons or because of the circumstances in which they lived. But right now, it is not certain that children's dreams correspond exactly to the wishes that their parents wanted to fulfill in the past.

Children are at risk of suffering from low self-esteem if they realize that they cannot meet their parents' expectations.

Trying to educate children to perfection can lead them to feel sad and frustrated, unable to achieve the goals their parents would expect of them. Perhaps these children have dreams and desires that are very different from what their parents are trying to impose on their lives.
