Hello, hope you are all well. One of the things I admire about certain people is the ability to strike conversation easily with various people of all various kinds. I admire this skill though I can not say it is my strongest suit, because it takes a certain level of comfort for me to start talking easily to people.
I have met people that can talk easily with people from any background, any age group and the conversation is always interesting. I normally meet conversational blocks in that when I meet some people, I may hit it off easily with them then reach a point where you feel you have talked about everything there is to talk about.
This skill is so useful in the professional setting because you meet people from different places, of different backgrounds and you have to create a professional relationship with them so that they feel comfortable entrusting you with their work. There is a difference between talking to your client and creating a relationship with them as that fosters long term professional relationships.
These relationships can be built through communication that is interesting, shows your client that you care about them and also that you have what it takes for them to give you their work. Therefore this is one skill that I would love to learn.

I'm an introvert with mild sociophobia. When meeting many new people at the same time, I am having sometimes panic attacks, but even if I manage to avoid it somehow, it's always stressful for me. It's different when I already know people or... on Internet. That's one of the reasons why I appreciate Steemit. It's much easier for me to express myself here than in a regular conversation.
