Eat That Frog - And Become More Productive

The 80/20 Rule (otherwise known as the Parato Principal)
Tells us that:
20% of your activities will account for 80% of your results.
20% of your customers will account for 80% of your sales.
20% of your tasks will account for 80% of the value of what you do, and so on.
This means that if you have 10 things to do today, two of those things will be worth as much as, or more than the other eight items put together.

>

Sometimes, just one thing on your list can be worth more than the other nine put together.
You should do this one thing first (Eat That Frog First). It might be easier said than done, as most people procrastinate on the most important items. When you make it a habit of completing the most valuable task first, you’ll see yourself starting to move ahead in life or in your work much quicker.
Refuse to work on tasks that are in the bottom 80%, if you still have tasks to do that are in the top 20%.

>

Before you start any task, get in the habit of asking yourself if it is in the top 20% or the bottom 80%.
I used the Franklin Planner for years, and this has all the scheduling templates done for you. Start applying this rule and see how you get on.
