How to stop eating the wrong food when you feel stressed

Do you ever get stressed?

That's a silly question right? Everyone gets stressed at some point.

When you get stressed, do you reach for comfort food or perhaps a glass of wine or 2?

Do you think that is the best solution for reducing the stress, or is it just masking the stress?

When you crave food, what you are really searching for is a reset of your emotions. You want the stress to go away and you want it to be replaced by a warm, happy feeling.

Eating cakes, cookies and potato chips will give you a short term rush of satisfaction, and then after you'll regret it and be back to feeling stressed.

If you're prone to stress and craving junk food, it's best to get rid of all the junk food in your house and replace it with healthy snacks. These can be tasty too.
