Cuantas noches pasarán
yo sentada en mi puerta
sentada, viéndote brillar
iluminando las noches serenas...

Luna llena que en el cielo brillas,
cuarto menguante a través de la orilla
al eterno caminante con tu luz iluminas,
dejando sus pasos llenos de maravillas..

¡ luna de locos!
todos te gritan,
pero nadie piensa
que poco titilas..

Sigo sentada aún en mi puerta
la gente pasa sin darse cuenta,
cuanta hermosura en tu luz reflejas
la sombra de mi silueta, en lo oscuro se queja..

Vivo retrato guardo en mi mente
de seres humanos que por ti sienten,
Amor, Paz, Cariño y Esperanza
de esa luna que observo
en mi puerta aún sentada.)

How many nights will pass
me sitting at my door
sitting, watching you shine
illuminating the serene nights ...

Full moon that shines in the sky,
last quarter across the shore
you illuminate the eternal traveler with your light,
leaving his steps full of wonders ..

Crazy moon!
everyone yells at you,
but nobody thinks
how little you twinkle ..

I'm still sitting at my door
people pass by without realizing it,
how much beauty you reflect in your light
the shadow of my silhouette, in the dark complains ...

I live portrait I keep in my mind
of human beings who feel for you,
Love, Peace, Affection and Hope
of that moon that I observe
at my door still sitting.)
