Greetings everyone,
S
This time around @abu78 has presented us with an enjoyable contest.
A contest that asks us to promote our country.
As rightly said by @abu78, there is no one out there who that does not cherish their country even tbough i might have to disagree with him a little.
There are some experiences one might go through in his country and will wish to have never been in his cointry.
To begin with, I come from Ghana, a country in the western part of Africa.
Ghana is a country that has gained popularity around the world because of various reasons.
Ghana is known for the peace it enjoys up to date.
Credit for the peace in the country does not just go to the government but to the people in the country.
S
In other places anytime there is a little argument or quarrel they tend to resort to violence or fight to resolve this case but in Ghana when there is a quarrel or argument we prefer to talk about it and resolve it through dialogue.
We all remember when the United States had a misunderstanding because trump r refused to step down after loosing the seat to Biden, when this happened people started to protest and this peaceful protests turned into something else.
They started to destroy properties in the country and law enforcement had to be called to bring down the situation in the county.
beautiful women in my country
I wonder why I am adding this point but its just because I want to boast about my country.
But damn Ghanaian ladies are damn beautiful.
Am not saying we do not have ugly or unpleasant ladies but I can proudly say that most of our women are women most people dream about or other women dream of looking like and I wouldn't be more proud.
Ghana has a rich culture which we do not joke with.
This is one particular area that I love and will always cherish about my country.
some people displaying their culture in my country
Everyone in the country belongs to a particular ethnic group and each ethnic groups have their distinct culture they practice and display when it is festival time.
For instance, the dagomba's celebrate the Dambai festival and when it is time for this particular festival they wear their native dresses and dance.
This signifies their love and readiness to display the rich culture they possess.
Likewise the Ga's celebrate the Homowo festival and they cook and eat the Acheke (Gari) to showcase their love for their tribe.
We can actually boast of being the second largest country that produces cocoa in the world.
This is something to boast about as it is a huge achievement.
This means we take care of our land and we pay particular attention to our cocoa and plants.
So you should know that the chocolate you are taking right time or the chocolate made product you buy next time might be from my country Ghana.
Lastly, Ghana was the first nation in the whole of Africa to gain independence.
To be more particular, in the sub-saharan Africa to gain independence.
Ghana gained independence on the 5th of March 1957.
It was a great day for the country as our leaders fought for us to enjoy our rights and gain our freedom from our colonial masters.
This is nice contest and I will like to invite my friends at @chenty, @gifty1 and @arahman to come take a look at this.
Thank you.
