CONTEST : MY METHOD OF LEARNING SPEAKING ENGLISH - Nomination from @sampu

I work in an Indian IT Company which is outsourced the IT support for an UK client with Beverage business. My job role is Project Management. Apart from managing the resources, the cost, the revenue, I also have to prepare and present dashboard for our daily / weekly / monthly and quarterly calls.

Although my presentation in front of external and internal stakeholders are mainly with data, I still have to listen and understand my audience. I also have to answer in case of they have any query regarding any of the information and also explain in case of any service agreement failure.

To understand the english from client representative I'm trying to habituate my ear and my mind with British accent. For that, I used to listen BBC and CNN channel. Even when I am working with data, I keep the television on just to listen the english. This has helped me a lot.
