The record was set by Chris Gayle from the Indian Premier League IPL on April 23, 2013. Chris Gayle was the archbishop for Royal Challengers Bangalore. He not only set a record, he also set another record in that match. He hit a six in the 112m which was the best of the season.
Chris Gayle hit 18 sixes and 14 fours in that match. It was a really great innings that is still famous in the eyes and minds of every spectator.
