Arshdeep Singh has gotten recognition for his skill in bowling tight overs at the end of the innings. He was key to the Punjab Kings win over the Rajasthan Royals this year in their opening match. Shahrukh Khan is someone who can adapt his play to the needs of the situation. The Punjab side found themselves at 19 for four in the fifth over against the Chennai Super Kings. Shahrukh Khan came in and played a 46-ball 36 knock, putting the team in a position to score over 100 runs. In the tournament, playing for his team Lyca Kovai Kings, the right-hander got in 210 runs with help from a few good innings. Shahrukh Khan's contributions will be pivotal for the Punjab Kings in the upcoming IPL season, as they look to be in the running for the sixth spot. Even after a rough start to the tournament, he was able to bounce back and put together some solid games at the plate.
Harshal Patel
Harshal Patel has taken more wickets in IPL 2021 than he did in his last five IPL seasons combined, even though he had a lot fewer matches under his belt. So far, he has nabbed 17 wickets, and his teammates agree that he will be absolutely essential for the team in the second half of the tournament.
