Chennai's new jersey includes camouflage
Chennai Super Kings, who have won three IPL titles, have unveiled their new jerseys for this year's season. Chennai have changed their jerseys for the first time since the start of the IPL in 2008. So this time in the IPL, Chennai players will be seen in new jerseys. New Jersey also has a camouflage in honor of the Indian Armed Forces. Specially, this jersey is made with the environment in mind and plastic bottles have been used for this jersey.
The franchise provided information about this jersey. 15 plastic bottles have been recycled and used to make a replica jersey of CSK. Also the quality polyester used in this new Jersey absorbs 90 percent less water than the others. Chennai Super Kings have reached the playoffs ten times so far in the IPL. Chennai's jersey is the same yellow as before, but the Army's camouflage has been included on the shoulder as an honor to the Indian Army. There are also three stars on the franchise's 'logo'.
