INTRODUCTION.
An Inspirational person is a person that really pays attention to what we say to them and respond appropriately. They never just let things go in one ear and out the other. They encourage us to contribute to the common goals in our life. So today SOURAV GANGULY is the cricketer that has inspired me most in my life, even though i don't know much about him but i have followed his story since i started loving cricket game.
Sourav Ganguly aka The 'Dada' of Indian Cricket is one of the most charismatic personality that i know. He was sometimes criticized for his poor form, delay for the toss against Ausies in 2001 and sometimes been condemned of his captaincy, and off side strokes. I really didnt care about all that criticism, what really mattered to me was him saying that he was going to be the captain of the india team one day even though he was from Bengal and he ended up being one.
However, the area he inspires me is from his quality of leadership and his ability of come back. 'comeback' is really important in our lives and the ability of a person to fall down and comeback is a great achievement.
In 1996, he played extremely well and scored a magestic hundred with the help of 17 boundaries. All the spectaculars applauded for his innings, the innings were really treat-ful with some great off side strokes. After this, he really established himself as a batsman and later as a captain to build a young team with some many great cricketers like Tendulkar, Laxman, Dravid and kumble. it is also an inspiration that he managed the entire team from scandel of spot fixing. His team really performed well in 2001 test series against Australia. He was the captain who taught us how to fight against the odds in any condition. That mentality really helped the team and the results were really awesome. He retained the border gavaskar trophy with Laxman scoring his highest test of 281.
Furthermore, He was a great support to the young talents and future legends like Yuvraj, Sehwag, Zaheer, Kaif and Bhajji. Their records spoke for themselves. Well alot where against his aggressive decision making but without that kind of aggressive decision Indian Cricket would not be able to make some good things and performance in abroad
He scored a magnificent 144 at Brisbane to set the tone of the series against the chin music of Australia, he promoted himself at the batting order, he was indeed the bengal tiger and godfather of Indian Cricket.
Indian Cricket was coming to an end but he changed the map of Indian cricket after the scandel. He reached the finals in the South African soil with an inexperienced team with nine consecutive wins as a captain. He loves to lead from the front by playing well with his willow and he did it in many occasion. He scored 3 hundreds in 2003 world cup..
In 2005, He lost his place as captain and his team. Then he worked hard consistently to fight back again. He failed so many times on several occasions at domestic level and also scored some tons again. He was a warrior and knows how to fight back. Ganguly got selected for the tour of South Africa at 2007, he knew that it was the last chance to show his class again. He scored a brilliant 51* against South Africa. We saw those off side strokes were coming easily from his willow.
After his comeback, he bagged Asian cricketer of the year in 2007 and remained the second highest run scorer in test in that year after Jacque kallis. He scored his first hundred at Eden and carried best double hundred in test at Chinwasamy against Pakistan.
CONCLUSION.
This kind of comeback is needed in our life for those who lost their hopes after sudden failure in any field of life. His aggression made me understand that we shouldn't be frighten always about our odds in any condition and thrown challenges rather the best way to get successful in our life. I like it most in my life because i learnt how to come back after sudden defeat in any occasion of my life. When I dont get good marks in exams I follow his path and I have done again my best in the exam.
Thank you Dada. As a Nigerian, I am proud of you. You are really one of the finest sons of Bengal and India.

''Dada" Obviously he was an extraordinary batsman and captain of the Indian cricket team.
When he took the responsibility of team India, No one could imagine that India is going to the final of 2003.
