Shahriar Nafees Ahmed is a former Bangladeshi cricketer, who played all formats of the game, and was also a former T20I captain for Bangladesh.Shahriar Nafis was born in 1986. He played in Bangladesh U-15 and U-19 teams.He made his One Day International debut for Bangladesh in 2005 against England, and later the same year played his first Test.He did get his chances in the ODI's and made maximum use of it cracking 75 against Australia at Canterbury.
Nafees was the first Bangladeshi batsman to score a century in Champions Trophy history.Nafees was appointed vice-captain for the Champions Trophy in India in October 2006.Nafees finished 2006 with over 1,000 ODI runs, becoming the first Bangladeshi to pass the milestone in a calendar year.He was the first T20I captain for Bangladesh.

Nafeez scored 138 runs in the Test match against Australia. He scored a BPL century for Khulna. He was a very stylish batsman and he had a lot of talent. People then have a lot of influence because of playing the Indian controversial league ICL. He could have made his career much longer. Even then Shahriar Nafis was one of the best batsmen in Bangladesh at that time.
