Former Australian great leg-spinner Shane Warne threw a magic ball during the Ashes series 25 years ago today. The whole cricket world was annoyed to see him. Warne's ball was declared the Ball of the Century.

Warne bowled English batsman Mike Gatting in the Manchester Test against England on June 4, 1993. The ball spun from a 90 degree angle, which surprised everyone. In cricket, former Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar is called the God of Cricket, just as former Australian spinner Shane Warne is called the spin magician in bowling.

Warne's ball fell out of the leg stump and the ball looked white at the time. Which is why Getting didn't try to play the bowler. After which the ball made a tremendous turn and landed on Getting's off stump. Everyone was amazed, including Gatting.

"The ball was a surprise and I never imagined it," Shane Warne said of the ball of the century. I can't repeat this ball. "As a leg-spinner, you're always thinking of putting a leg-break ball," Warne said. I also thought of throwing this type of ball, but the ball turned 90 degrees.
