I am new to this community. This is my first post here. Today I will talk about Bangladesh cricket.

History of cricket

As far as is known, the game of cricket began in the late sixteenth century. Originally originated in south-east England, it became the national sport of England in the eighteenth century. It spread worldwide in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Although international races have been played since 1844, the historically recognized Test cricket mass game began in 1877. Cricket is the second most popular sport in the world in terms of spectator numbers. The ICC (International Cricket Council), the body with more than 100 members, is in charge of worldwide administration of the game, although only 12 member countries play Test cricket.

History of Bangladesh cricket

The history of cricket in Bangladesh has been progressively enriched with time. In October 1999, Bangladesh cricket team participated in first class cricket for the first time.But Bangladesh has a long cricket history as it is located in the Indian subcontinent in the later political situation.

Independent Bangladesh played its own cricket game in 1972. The Bangladesh Cricket Control Board was established at that time. Cricket competition was started at the national level in the 1984-1985 season.

The Bangladesh national cricket team represents the national cricket team in international cricket. They are also known as the "Bengal Tigers". The team is run by the Bangladesh Cricket Board. In 2000, they played their first Test match in Dhaka.
