Cricket is a very Unpredictable Game. One great delivery can change the whole game. The game of Cricket is beginning to be more Sensational. New formats are created to give more Fun in less time. There are formats Such as,

Actually I don't like this concept. It's just Power Hitting. We won't be able to see the Real battle Between The Batsman and The Bowler. There is only way you can Witness it. It's Test Cricket.

Battle of Wade, Smith and Wagner

We all know that at the beginning of Cricket, there were only Test Cricket. But by the time pass by, people became busy and they had not much time to watch Test Cricket. And that's where Limited Over Cricket Formats Were Introduced. But still, The Spirit of Cricket is with Test Cricket.

⚜️Testing Limits

In a test match, a match is played for Five Days in the Same Ground, same pitch. Playing Cricket For Five Days? Yeah.. the players are being tested for their Limits. Think of a Main Bowler. Usually 85 -90 overs are bowled per day. So, A Main bowler should bowl At least 20 overs per day. Think of a Seamer. Running all day to bowl 120+ deliveries. And sometimes they won't even get a Wicket. That's a Tough Testing. Talking about a Batsman, sometimes they get out from the First ball. But still, he has to field for days.

⚜️Making of Great Players

Usually at first, a new player plays Test Cricket before other formats in International Level. Actually I can't see this happening right now. I think this is the best way in Creating a Great player. A player should be tested for his limits before he hits the Intensive formats. That's how a player can gain the ability of Handling the Pressure and Play smart in Critical phases.

⚜️Great Players

Basics of a Great Cricketer is made in Test Cricket. That's why the players who are Successful in Test Cricket is Successful in Every format of the Game. Taking from these days, we can see great Cricketers such as Virat kohli, Kane Williamson, Babar Azam. And they are my favorite players. Kyle Jamieson is a good new bowler who started his career from test cricket. They all are Successful in every Format.

Why I Like Test Cricket

A team can score a high amount of runs in comparing to other formats. The Highest score of an Innings is 952 which was scored by Sri Lanka. And sometimes it can be lower as two digits. That's the nature of the game. The lowest Score of an Innings in 26. How can a team can end up scoring 952 and another team only 26 runs? A Batsman can either out for zero or score a even 400 which is the highest Individual score by a batsman, Brian Lara . And also he can get out for a Duck in next Innings. That's the nature of the game.

⚜️Result of a game can depend on even the Venue

When a team plays in their own soil, there is a high probability to win for them. And it's so good to see how the opponent team trying to engage with the conditions. Most if the time they struggle to get going. But recently, it's so fascinating to see teams losing on their own Country. India beat Australia in Australia and England beat India in India. What a mess, right?

Even if teams had played for 5 days, the decision of the match can be defined in the Last ball of the match. We all have seen "One Wicket to Win. One over Remaining" kind of situations. The First two Test Matches of the series of Sri Lanka tour of England in 2014 happen these Situation.

⚜️Cricket for 5 Days Straight.

Watching Cricket Matches is one of my Hobbies. And even now, I'm watching a match, First T20 match of Australia and New Zealand. As you all know, the action of T20 and ODI matches end within a day. But test matches are played for maximum 5 days. It means I can watch Five days Cricket Continuously. Sounds like Music To My Ear.

In test Cricket, Players has more freedom to do what is needed. A Batsman can Defense or he can smash even 36 rune a over. And Even Number 11 batsman has the chance for Getting a Century. It can't be done in other Formats. Sometimes even Batsmen get the chance to bowl. It can Create a New All-Rounder for the team. Also I love to see Strange Field Settings. When tail-Enders come to play or when a Batsman is on 99, we can see 6-7 Fielders around the batsman.

Most of games are Sensational. But there is a game where the patience of a player is being tested.. It's Test Cricket. Because of that, my favourite format of games is Test Cricket. And it'll always be the same.
