Craig Brathwaite, the right-handed opener for the West Indies Test team, is a full-fledged batsman in charge, but also occasionally turns his hand to the needs of the team. Right now He is an exceptional record as an opener. It's a very rare case in the history of world cricket.
In Test cricket, it is very difficult for the openers to remain unbeaten till the end of the innings. So far, the openers have been able to carry their batting 56 times till the end of an innings.
However, only once in the history of world cricket, an opener has achieved the feat of being unbeaten in two innings of a Test. West Indies opener Craig Brathwaite was unbeaten in both innings of the 2016 Sharjah Test against Pakistan.
After losing the first two matches of a three-match Test series against Pakistan in the United Arab Emirates, the West Indies team was eager to win the third Test in Sharjah.
After winning the toss, Pakistan batted first and scored 261 runs on the board. Then the West Indies finished their scoreline on board at 338 in the first innings. Opener Craig Brathwaite scored the highest unbeaten 142 runs for the team. Here is the scoreboard.

Pakistan lost all their wickets for 208 in their second innings to set a target of 153 for victory over the Windies. West Indies started their batting target of 153 runs and lost their five wickets after putting just sixty-seven runs on the board against the bowling attack of Yasir Shah and Wahab Riaz. Here is the Second innings Screenshot.

Brathwaite was still kept batting at one end. Then he and Dowrich play an unbeaten 60-runs partnership in that innings and lead the team to a five-wicket win. He also became the first opener to remain unbeaten in both innings of the Test.
Why I think This record will be unbeaten
It's a rare case in test cricket that an opener plays till the end of an innings. Here Craig Brathwaite was unbeaten in both innings. That's why I think this record will be unbeaten in the history of Test Cricket
Wow! Didn't knew about it. It's very hard for an opener to remain undefeated till the end.
