Peace is something we all wish for in common nowadays. Right now is a moment when world peace is most essential. As beautiful as peace may be, achieving overall peace is a very difficult task. It requires a common interest. A lot of sacrifices have to be made. Through today's contest, I hope to paint how the path to peace is created in my mind. So let's see how to draw that picture step by step.
These things used for the drawing
- An A4 sheet
- Pencil
- Color pencils
- An Eraser
- Pencil sharpener
- First I started by drawing the pigeon which is considered a symbol of peace in many places as showing in the following figure.
- In the second step, I drew the mountain ranges I needed for my painting.
- I want to complete the rest of the drawing with colored pencils so at this step I started coloring the drawing. First I colored the pigeon with blue, black and white colors.
- A world without peace is dark. Where there is peace there is light. So for one to go from darkness to light, one has to walk to peace with difficulty. So to symbolize that, I painted the lower part of my painting with dark color and the upper part with blue color mixed with white.
- As a final step, the outlines were drawn in black. Also, I completed the painting as if the flag on top of the mountain was inviting the pigeon, the symbol of peace. This is the final result of my drawing.
