Contest Overview
I think most of you are familiar with this concept. Well, I will break down it. According to the contest schedule, there will be 15 matches, one per day, starting from the 19th of February.
So, for each day, you guys have to create your Fantasy XI combining players from both teams. The trick is you should predict the combination that will perform the best in that match. Because the points are calculated according to that.
You can see the full details in my last announcement post.
So, it's the last match on the group stage. Australia, India, New Zealand, and South Africa have already qualified for the knockout stage, and hopefully, we can watch some memorable encounters, especially without rain interruptions.

✅ Team Combination
- 11 players per team
With some, misunderstandings about team combinations in the last few matches, I relaxed the limitations, so you guys have more freedom to choose the team. And there will be a very low chance for disqualifications with this.
- A balanced squad: 2–6 Batters, 1-5 All-rounders, 2–6 Bowlers, 1 Wicketkeeper
- Choose a Captain (2x points) and Vice-Captain (1.5x points)
The wicketkeeper should be one of the real wicketkeepers from any team. You can choose the remaining wicket-keeper as a general player but his stumping points will not be added.
No need to choose a real captain or vice-captain, so you can choose any player for these two positions to maximize your points.
Please remember that the batting points for ballers, as well as balling points for a batter, will also be calculated.

- New Update: Now you can predict the winning team of the match as well. If you are right, the total points will be multiplied by 1.1 factor.
✅The way of participating
So, you have to do a small thing.
You have to predict the team, and submit as a comment on this post or as a separate post. (if it's a separate post, comment the link here)
In the post or comment, you have to mention the team, their positions (whether baller/ batter, etc) according to the guidelines in the Team Combination section.

Participants must submit your teams before the first ball. You guys can edit the team combination until that time, even considering the toss, and team news. I will check it with the Steemworld.
For the first match I gave a small time to edit just after starting the match, as people are getting used to it, but not from the next one.
✅ Winners Criteria & Prizes
So, the total team points for each entry will be separately calculated. Yeah, I know it will be a very busy week for me. I have already made the format.
There will be two types of winners.
- Daily Winners: Top three Highest scorers of the day (10 Steem will be shared per the day)
- Overall Tournament Winner: Top three Highest scorers across all matches (prizes will be announced later)
The prize pool will indeed be increased with the level of excitement and support from you guys!
Points and winners will be updated daily, and so will the prizes.
There will be no separate post for announcing the winners, (as there will be so many posts.) I will announce the winners as a comment in this post a few hours after the match.

PS: This contest is exclusively for genuine Cricket lovers! As you can see I have to put a lot of effort into calculating the points, and so on. So, I hope you guys will do me the favor without copy-pasting others' entries just to win a prize.

I might find it difficult updating my team tomorrow so here it is:
Winning Team: India
This is a venue that India know well now so I think this pitch experience will help them. Perhaps I should have more Indians than Aussies but I prefer the points potential amongst the Australians.
Captain was a tough choice and I've gone for Shreyas Iyer who has improved as the tournament's progressed. Again, difficult to really know where to go with this so I'll just cross my fingers and hope that my team does well.
