Another wonderful week has come and gone and I didn't relent in my efforts to keep fit and to train others to do same. Football game was equally part of the programs. And because it was the last week of August, we went out for swimming and poolside fruit party to crown the month.
As always, I spent 4 days this past week to stay active. Health is wealth and one of the suggested ways to stay healthy is exercise. It was a wonderful week for me. Please, see how it all went below
Monday training
As for Monday, was for tummy. As soon as I got to the playground , I did a warmup. This helped to keep my body set for the programs of the day. I walked, I jumped, I skipped and I stretched. Then with the step boards, we did several programs.
Recently, my clients told me of their major need to burn belly fat. I decided to take them on that. So, using the step boards, we did press-up (both full and half). The newbies to the program especially the ladies did the half press-up while the men did the full planks. We did 15 reputations for 4 times while we had 5 to 10 seconds rest in-between.
Then we went for planks. We did different variations of it. We jumped with our 2 legs while on plank position with our arms on the board to the middle and sides for 30 repetitions for 4 times.
Then we did the one with legs apart where we jumped with one leg at a time in stretch formats for same 30 repetitions for 4 times.
Next, we sat on the board, tilted backwards, then lifted our 2 legs back and forth the board for 30 repetitions for 4 times.
Then while still on the position, we did other programs that really dealt with the Tommy. They were tough no doubt but they were worth it.
Some of the pictures for that day are below
These pictures were taken with one of my clients device.
It was that same Monday that our banner was hanged. They were sent to me on Sunday and I took them out, 3 of them.
Wednesday training/soccer ⚽
I quickly shared the announcement banner for our football game late evening on Tuesday to inform or remind everyone of our Wednesday.
Then at the playground, I did my warmup as usual. What I did was jog 5 times round the standard field, then I began with the program of the day
Those that did come on Monday, I gave them the Monday programs, then those that were present on Monday, I gave them different programs. We did weight lifting, walking lunges with dumbbells, dumbbell curls and more. The pictures below speak volumes
At 8:10 am, we switched to our football game. We paired ourselves and put on our jersey. Then took pictures before we began playing. It ended goalless but it was fun. We tried our best but no goals.
Friday training
We went again on Friday starting with warmup as usual. I jogged 10 times around the field before other programs of the day.
Then with my yoga mat, I went ahead with Tommy programs. Leg raises, bicycle crunches, russian twist, planks, dead bug, mountain climber, side plank crunch, reverse crunch, scissors abs and so on. All were done 20 repetitions for 4 times.
Saturday training
Someone who had been viewing my status on WhatsApp became interested in exercising. And told me that she wished I was in her city of residence with her. She is my friend but was never interested in exercise. But now, she wants to exercise. I promised to train her via WhatsApp video call. We started that Saturday morning. While I was training her, @bossj23 came and joined me. It was a wonderful session for her. We began by 6.50 am and ended by 7.30 am just when my clients started coming.
It was the last Saturday of the month, we already planned to go for swimming and poolside fruit party. But that morning, we did some programs before leaving the vanue to AKMAG hotels. We had our mixed fruits, wine, jollof rice and chicken at the poolside there. Then, those who wanted to swim did so. I personally didn't swim because I was not strong health wise. We spent about 3 hours there before we left
It was a wonderful week for me and my clients. We went hard and achieved great results. The only complaints I am receiving from my clients is pain. Yes, pains are bound to be there if you are getting it right and if you must achieve results because if there is no pain, there will be no gain.
This current week is already on going. The update will be next week. See you all then!
