Hello, how are you sports lover Steemian? I hope you are fine and doing well. The 10th edition of BPL is going on here in Bangladesh. Here I came to share with you a remarkable achievement of the BPL, which happened yesterday in BPL.
Yesterday, there were so many record-breaking moments in the history of BPL in a single match. Let's talk about that.
The match between Dhaka Capitals and Durbar Rajshahi was the second match of the day. Rajshahi's Captain, Anamul Haque, won the toss and invited Thisara Perera's team, Dhaka, to bat. Sylhet is known for Batting Paradise, and that was a good decision to chase the target. But the decision looks doomed after Dhaka's two openers make it a one-sided match.
Capitals two openers, Liton Das and Tanzid Hasan, created history with their bat. They scored a record-breaking 241-run partnership in any wicket in the history of BPL. Even, this record became the second-highest ever in the history of T20s. There was another record they made was, Two Centuries in a single innings in BPL. Both of them scored Century.
When Tanzid Hasan was out at the last over with only 3 balls left to play, the highest number of runs in an inning became a record, too. Dhaka then finished their innings with a Record 254/1 with Liton Das (not out) with 125 in his name.
In response, Durbar Rajshahi looked already out of the truck and ended their innings with only 105 runs on the board in the 16th over and another record sealed by DC is the biggest win by runs in the history of BPL. This is their 1st victory in this edition after a 6 match-long loss.
It was a match that rewrote the history of BPL, not for once but at various times. A match to remember, a match to forget (For Durbar Rajshahi).
