With the proper launch of the communities, we are all exploring these new options. I think it will be a journey of discovery for a little while yet, as we figure them out and changes are likely made. Hopefully we'll explore together as home educators in the new Home Edders community.
If you haven't already joined, you can click the subscribe button on Steemit or Steempeak.
So this is the welcome to the community post and the tester of our first posting.
@HomeEdders is here to support all home education on Steem. We want you to be able to share what you're doing and ask questions. My hope is that we can pool our knowledge and experience, talk about our ups and downs and indeed our worries and fears, because we're all bound to encounter them, in an environment where we feel comfortable.
I would like to walk you through and explain how the communities, or hives, work, but in all honesty I'm still learning myself. If anyone has come across a good post explaining it all, please let us know.
I gather that anything posted directly in a community will not appear on your blog page, so if you want it to appear there as well you will need to resteem it. Also, if you use Steempeak there is a function to crosspost to other communities, however this is like a separate repost, so some are seeing it as farming. Also, because it is currently exclusive to steempeak it just shows as a link on the other front-ends
I'm afraid that is about the length of my knowledge on things did far.
Welcome to you all, from @minismallholding 💛
