Okay, all of us know of what happened with Steem and how we all were running around voting for our witnesses and getting them in the top 20 so that Steem stayed safe. But…

It just did not work out. So, here we are.

What am I upto on Hive

Let me admit it, I did like Steem. I mean for more than a year we literally earned nothing out of Steem and yet I was there posting, participating in contest, and generally upvoting member contents. Then why come here?

Well, the way the takeover happened left a bad taste. I mean, I personally felt that we were a bit too edgy with the soft fork, and retaliation was expected. But the manner of retaliation was un-business like. I mean, you connive with the exchanges and the exchanges in turn, block user funds to cosy up to Justin Sun? What on earth?

Nah, not the greatest of moves.

So, Hive it is then for me?

It is, indeed. But I am not done with Steem yet. After all, few friends, games and steem tokens remain there. So, I will be visiting Steem too. However, I have already started powering down, so I won’t be there in full flow.

Let’s see how things pan out.

First Impressions?

As of now, I am liking Hive and hope it succeeds way more than Steem. I do have reasons to believe that if Justin is even one percent the businessman that he is, he may not want his investment to fail.

So, he may do something about Steem. How good it would be is what we would have wait and watch.

In the meantime, Hive has already overtaken Steem in token price. So, that may be signs of things to come!

So, that's it. Nice to meet you all, again.
