I am on HIVE, however, the problem I see is that while talking about 'decentralization', during the last weeks on STEEM, and now also on HIVE, old witnesses, whales and other 'VIPs' circle-upvote each other like crazy, and there is an accumulation of power in very few hands which doesn't really convince me of real decentralization on HIVE. :-(
Depends on how you define decentralisation. Steem definitely lost it with Steemit giving $360 votes after putting puppet witnesses in place. There's no perfect system, but I think Hive has potential to be what Steem could have been. It's early days and things will settle down after the initial excitement.
Just look at Trending, only crypto stuff and witnesses praising each other. Nothing at all of interest for 'normal' people.
To opt in favour of one thing only because the other option is even worse is not my cup of tea. STEEM is maybe a dictatorship now, but HIVE is an oligarchy, a gradual difference, yes ...
Maybe I need a break, don't know yet.
Early days Sir Steve and time will tell.
Not very encouraging at the moment and from what I see, there are complaints.
Let's wait and see how it works out.
Blessings!
Just the normal moans and groans Sir Steve.
And of course the incessant fighting has created much dissent.
I so long back to the TSU days, but it's gone and we have to endure!
Blessings!
We had true freedom in the 60's mate and ever since, governments have increased oppression.
All people are different and no ideal system exists.
Blessings!
I don't know, @steevc, I have migrated to hive but since then nothing happened in terms of upvotes and comments there. I did experiment to publish one and the same posts in hive and steempeak and the results show significant more activity in steempeak for some reason. I don't know what to think about it...
I don't see you getting too many comments on Steem either. I don't think we have auto voting on Hive yet. I find you get the most engagement if you comment a lot. You have to connect with people. I take none of it for granted.
Who did I insult? I'm just having fun. The fact is that Steem is now under the control of Justin and the community has moved on. I may just post here now and then, but I plan to power down all my Steem eventually.
Everyone who had a Steem account before the hardfork also has a Hive account. I see you got the airdrop. Just log in with the same keys you use on Steem. There is a Hive Keychain extension and other tools are getting migrated too.
He/she was pretty fat. I wonder if it could be loaded with eggs. Was lurking under a flowerpot. Our old pond got a leak and we need to dig a new one. We had frogs and newts before.
Here's a list of some banned users: 'roelandp', 'blocktrades', 'anyx', 'ausbitbank', 'gtg', 'themarkymark', 'lukestokes.mhth', 'netuoso', 'innerhive'
See anyone you recognize? There could be more, they also have a remote IP ban list.

What are the complaints? Hive is only 3 days old. Things will settle down eventually.

Tsu had its issues too. No system is going to satisfy everyone, but freedom means a lot.

Is there a reason to insult people? Why not let them decide by themselves what they like to join? Here, there or who knows nowhere? 💕

All are welcome on Hive. No censorship over there. Just log in with same keys as Steem.

Hey @steevc, is there any tutorial on how to link my Steem account on Hive and claim my Hive airdrop? Thanks.

Hi! Did you know that steemit.com is now censoring users and posts based on their opinions?
All the posts of these users are gone!
