Yeah for a higher salary you need to be in some professional jobs. But when it comes to such jobs, you will need some qualifications to apply. I guess foreign people would need some local qualifications attained in Taiwan. That makes things even complicated and difficult for them.

Exactly and i know many people like taiwan but if i tell them that would you still come over if it means 50% salary cut or more? People will have doubt and hesitate because after all you may be as busy as HK but salary is only half of it. But ofcourse the living of standard could be higher in taiwan, but that is a personal choice.

Yes thats just a give and take decision. If you get something you have to give up something. While you enjoy the better quailty of life in Taiwan, you just have to pay the cost in a lower pay. For some people it may worth though if they want to get rid of life in Hong Kong.

Yes exactly while this sounds easy, this is actually some people moving to taiwan find struggle with. They thought they can maintain the pay while having good living standard and therefore we always say their is an unofficial stats that hk immigrant to taiwan, 60% will return after 2 years.

Yeah thats why many Hong Kong people are moving back after living outside for some years. They are in fact facing difficulties to live im foreign countries. And the life out there has never been easy. At the end they may just realize that living in Homg Kong is the best one already.

Yes, sometime i get me thinking why and i think when those immigation agent presents, it always sound too me but in reality different places have their own good and bad, and if you dont realize that or be prepared that, it may just surprise you in a very bad way.

I see your point. Those agents are earning from willing immigrants so it is normal that, they promote all the good points and advantages on moving outside of Hong Kong. I think it is very important and necessary for those people to do research first, and gather sufficient information before they make any decisions...
