2018 HODL Year?

The year 2018 is the make or break year for Crypto due to all the newbies tagging along. Starting January 1st is the new tax bill in the US which so far is pretty vague on how we should actually go about taxing cryptocurrencies. This upcoming year will be the time to buckle down through the regulations and see how the US Government enforces the new tax bill. I believe 2018 will be a huge breakthrough for the markets of these currencies, but I don't know if all the new investors believe in the decentralized world these currencies are creating. I feel as though people who are hopping on the train now only believe in the quick gains of the market, not the world changing vision we have in the technology being built. The year of 2018 will be the year that decides the road Crypto takes as it is choked under regulations and new comers.
