HOI4 defense rant

This was supposed to be a small tutorial on hearts of iron 4 defense fun.
But instead I played the game and got played by my own troops.

Think of Tirol.
Nice mountains, fresh air, 30 divisions on both sides.
My troops in full garrison mode.
Defend the forts.
What could go wrong?

Everything.
Italy attacks.
And my stationed divisions are fine, 50 and growing outcome, me as winner.
So the neighbour divisions would have nothing to do, but stay on their tiles.
But what are they doing?
Reinforcing.
There was no need for it!
But now there is a tile with a bunker free.
So attacking divisions move in there.
I had to station 100 divisions down there, but now Italy isn't attacking any more and makes itself comfortable in the won tile.

I did not rage quit.
We have a stalemate down there, so I cam play a bit with it.
Building rockets and destroying Italian infrastructure, to see, what changes.
Also, research and develop super heavy tank divisions.
Just for the fun.

Oh, of course with all my rage I forgot to take screenshots.
But I have the 5 hour longs session recorded.
And will continue in 10 hours for a short round.
