Holi - Now

Now Holi is like think twice before you eat sweets and think thrice before you put colours to others. Not just ordinary colours you have to put Organic colours only. With time the spray guns have also became fancier. A gun attached to a big tank kind of back pack which kids carry on their backs.

Now a days everybody has become so health conscious that eating just one sweet will make you feel guilty for days.
Since last few days my kids were after me to make french chocolate cake so I thought of killing two birds from one stone. Why not make cake instead of Indian sweet like Gujhia or Gulab Jamun.
So I made cake with chocolate ganache and all that.

Thinking this cake will do the needful of having some sweet on Holi and make up for the overdue of mama- bake - a - cake thing. But somehow I wasn’t satisfied and was not getting the feel of Holi so bought sweets also from the market. 😝

Nothing can replace the Indian sweets on Indian festivals. It is important to carry the tradition forward.
