I love Hollywood but I love my country more and it makes me cringe everytime Hollywood portrays India as we are still living in 1600s. And that too from those who are one of the beloved franchises.
- Indiana Jones And The Temple of Doom
When Steven Spielberg is on helm you expect something really cool and that too in an Indiana Jones movie. But this was the worst movie of all. Even Spielberg himself said that the only good thing that he got from this movie for he met his current wife.
From Kings eating money brains to girls dancing on sitar tunes, this one gave the cliched version of India. As I did ate my mom's brain for desert sometimes but not literally.
- The Big Bang Theory
It really hurts when something you loves gives you a reason to hate them. I love Big Bang Theory but it just breaks my heart everytime they joke about how India is poor and over populated and that too when Raj does it. I mean really Kunal Nayyar?
- Mission Impossible - Ghost Protocol
What is with Hollywood and making Sitar Tune synonymous with India? Haven't you heard any other song from India? Atleast give AR Rehman a go whom you gave an OSCAR for his Music and he didn't even use sitar at all.
- Hymn For The Weekend - Coldplay
I don't even have words about this. Our girls don't always wear so much jewellery and we don't play holi 24x7 and the kids are really not playful at all. Trust me.
- And every time they cast an Indian and he's a Nerd who can't speak to girls and have big spectacles and has been a virgin all his life.
