God is merciful: Your heavenly Father is even more ready to give the Holy Spirit to anyone who asks. Luke 11:13

While Lord Jesus was physically on earth, he openly preached about the importance of entering into the Kingdom of God to achieve true blessedness; because the false happiness exists, and those who let themselves be carried away by it, sooner or later encounter a stumbling rock, a destructive unforeseen event, and thus they fall into ruin and disgrace. There are two paths and men have to choose, men sin or live righteously.
Entering into the Kingdom of God, the dominion or empire of God's perfections, is not only a righteous life ("Do to others what you would have them do to you" Matthew 7:12), it is also asking God with security for those spiritual gifts that men need to achieve well-being, longevity, and happiness.
That is why Jesus taught about the importance of prayer and its effectiveness, God who is wise, is merciful with his beloved children:
"So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? As bad as you are, you still know how to give good gifts to your children. But your heavenly Father is even more ready to give the Holy Spirit to anyone who asks" Luke 11:9-13.
Be insistent and never tire of asking, said Jesus. And Jesus especially mentioned the Holy Spirit, because just as the Sun radiates its light, the spirit of wisdom is in the doctrine of the Kingdom of Heaven, the responsible for radiating to men the perfections of God.
