The holy ghost in the early church: So then, even to Gentiles God has granted repentance that leads to life. Acts 11:18

The Book of the Acts of the Apostles tells us about the conversion to the new faith of the first pagans, because at that time they were not yet called Christians, through the action of the holy ghost in the early church.
Peter had received a spiritual vision from the Lord that he had not been able to fully understand. In that vision, God told Peter that he should not consider any man impure, and that the Lord was calling to share his kingdom with all those men who feared him.
And so Peter traveled from Joppa to Caesarea where he witnessed how the spirit was poured out on the pagans after having heard the word of God. Immediately all non-believers were baptized.
And it was so that Peter, the leader of the Church, had to bear witness to this incredible fact to the other disciples in the Church of Jerusalem. But when appearing in front of his brothers, Peter was questioned for his acts: "You went into the house of uncircumcised men and ate with them" Acts 11:3.
The followers of Jesus at that time were mainly converted Jews and circumcision was necessary for them to be believers in the name of Jesus.
And so the apostle Peter had to explain that everything he did was because he was guided by the holy spirit, and that the spirit as a doctor and educator of the Church taught him that he should bring the Kingdom of Heaven, the dominion or empire of God's perfections, to non-Jews.
With these words the apostle Peter explained the mystery of the Holy Spirit to his brothers in the faith:
"So if God gave them the same gift he gave us who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to think that I could stand in God's way?
When they heard this, they had no further objections and praised God, saying, ´So then, even to Gentiles God has granted repentance that leads to life´" Acts 11:17-18.
