Today marks the last class of my college semester before summer. I averaged a B throughout my classes (good but not great, for those not accustomed) and considering I also work and do independent research alongside college, I'm proud of my grades. I've never been a good student, so to see myself at least performing adequately in what most consider higher education, I'm pleased.
As I transition into the summer I'm going to have more time on my hands. I have the option of taking on more work hours but instead I am happy to invest in myself and further my own independent education. If you are unaware of my homelab series, you can find it on my blog, but essentially I attempt to recreate scenarios that may come up in an IT environment, and learn my way how to solve them. I also use my homelab equipment to roll out new software to familiarize myself with the industry standard. With me getting much more free time during the summer, this leaves me to improve my homelab, and increase my abilities.
Soon I will begin drafting ideas for projects and I will do my best to keep Steem updated with my progress. If you would like to help support my homelab be sure to upvote+resteem, as well as check out the cryptos I accept.
I love all of you who believe in my goal of self-education. Thank you.
