I am still alive, so it was a success, LOL!*
We had some rain here, so our line was under 250. We even had a little food left over, which wiull go to the Denver Hopuse here in town, so zero waste! We had generator problems, that took out two of the five generators. Then we did the French Toast, which cost another generator, so we were power starved! We had about 75 pound of baked potatoes left over, but we started with over 200 pounds. The stew was a big hit, and the brocolli and cheese sauce was GONE! We had almost twice the MAc and Cheese we normally have, so there was a little of that left, it will go to the Denver House too. Probably served 250 but some were back for seconds.
Had to run one guy off that was asking my 9 year old server for a date! Thought I would need to drop him for a minute. He pulled a Samari Sword (cheap copy). But he was NOT totally Stupid, so I didn't have to shoot him!

We had three guys telling him to leave, and one calling 911. The problem was less of a problem than he thought, I practice at 25 snd 50 yards with my CC.
If he had unsheathed the blade, started our way; I had already decided to drop him before he arrived WHERE WE WERE! I also had moved where no one else would be, hurt by a stray bullet.

Three guys bigger than he was, that were pissed! He did NOT know about my CC; but that was the primary response tool.
I carry insurance for legal protection in the case that I need to use a weapon to defend myself! My job is to practice enough to be VERY good with it.
