We set up again at 11th and S Denver this Sunday at 2:00 PM in Tulsa Ok. to Feed the homeless! You are invited to come and join us, to help us serve. We will serve hot food to three to four Hundred in about an hour. We will be feeding Italian Food this time, with all the goodies!
Our group was blessed with a two axle covered trailer to help us in this work! So this weekend will be a little easier, because we can pre-load the trailer, and leave the the equipment we need on board all the time! :)
We always need help, and look forward to seeing you guys there!

It was 95 degrees today (104 heat index), and It went very well, the trailer helped a lot. We fed over 300. WE had 13 roasters of food and 21 loaves of garlic bread. several hundred potatoes, Six insulated coolers of drinks, and 600 snack cakes for dessert. We were able to cut the generator noise by placing the generators on the other side of the trailer.
We got a lot of compliments on the food, they really enjoyed all of it; and no one left hungry! This may have been the fastest serving we ever did, everything flowed smoothly, and all the plates were full! We even had Ice left over, and that doesn't usually happen when it is this hot.
I had to skip sleeping to finish cooking, because I had to finish pressure cooking the chicken. I got there on time, but not as early as I had intended. But the crew had everything about setup when I arrived. We added my roasters to the tables, powered everything up, and got ready to serve.
I realized today why I enjoy this so much, everyone there was happy and smiling! These people never have much to smile about usually, so this is an oasis for them!
