Missed a Day!
So yesterday, Day 17, I neglected to do my daily update post. Mainly because I was depressed as heck. I was broke, my van is dead, my camera is dead and I was stuck in my room all day feeling sorry for myself. Plus it was Sunday so I couldn't even go looking for work as almost everything in this town is closed on Sunday.

Today I received my 2nd Power Down payment for 276 Steem, which will pay my rent for another week at the motel and leave me a few bucks. I also took back the Digital Photo Printer and accessories today and got a refund since I can't use them any time soon....so I have grocery money for a few days (probably rest of the week).
Then this afternoon I decided to cancel my partial power down of 276 steem a week and then immediately started another power down for 386 steem a week. Since my daily payouts revenue is going to drop now that I can't photograph I need the extra money so I can try and get me a rental car soon and start Ubering. Of course with my luck Hertz will call and say they have a car and when I ask if they can wait til Monday they will give the car to someone else. So I might have to go to the bottom of the list a few times before I have the cash to rent it. Either way, in the next few weeks I should have the money and the car and be working for/with Uber making a steady paycheck.
As soon as I get an Uber car I will drop my power down back to around 250 Steem a week (enough to cover motel) and I will take "Daily Payouts" from Uber for food, gas, cigarettes, etc. Once I start making enough with Uber to cover my all my bills I will cancel my Power Down completely, hopefully that day will come before I loose too much of my Steem Power. I was almost a Dolphin when I became homeless (9.3k SP) and somehow managed to rebuild it to 9.3k SP between my first power down payment and my second. I am hopeful I can build it back up again over the next week. But after my 3rd power down payment next Monday it will get even harder each week to build it back up.
My hope is to get to work with Uber and completely cancel the power down payments before I drop below 5,000 SP. If I drop below that I will have a difficult time building it back up to where it is now.
On a side note, I am still delegating my butt off, even with all that is going wrong in my life. (My current delegations are shown below)
That is roughly 2200 SP I have delegated to others. It was higher but circumstances forced me to reduce my delegations. @msp-lovebot I am sorry, but I needed to pull some of my delegations and you where the unlucky recipient of the axe. LOL! But do not fret @msp-lovebot I still love you and as soon as I get back to work I will delegate you some more funds.
Today, as mentioned earlier, I took the Photo Printer and Supplies back to Office Depot where I bought them. I had no way to town so I found a homeless lady that was living in her car (until the 10th when her next check comes) and put $20 in gas in her car, bought her lunch and gave her $10 to take me to Denver. She "made me" drive though as she wasn't feeling good from the heat. While we where gone her two little Chihuahua's staid in my room. When we got back she took the dogs and left, but about 10 minutes later brought the dogs back for me to dog sit during the day as it is just too hot for them in her car with no AC.

"Homeless" literally means without a 'home'. 'Home' is a permanent residence. A car is not a permanent residence (can't get mail delivered there) so yes she is technically homeless.

I say "I am homeless but not roofless" and it drives people insane. They feel like I should be in a ditch. It doesn't count until you are out in the weather. How little they know.

Sounds like you had your work cut our for you. Depression is a villan of one's happiness. Homelessness is a tough one too. Sounds like you went through some electronic concerns as well. Keep up the faith. Thanks for sharing. - Troy

I rarely let depression bother me, I am bi-polar but learned a long time ago to control it. Yesterday I was beyond my ability or desire to control it and so I hid away and let it the fuq out.....had I not I would have been miserable for days (even with the control) instead I am happy again today!

I hate to hear about your troubles and I know what its like I was homeless for a year in my car it was tough but I finally pulled through as you will to there is a solution to everything except death keep your chin up and you will be in my thoughts

I'd get rid of the "getinvolved" or "blog" tag and change to "dogs" so more people find out about you. Dogs is a good tag here like anywhere. People care way more about dogs than they do about people. Those are some cute ones too!
Also - see if anyone local there wants photos put up online about their place - like advertising or marketing shots. Offer to write them a post here, plus give them the pics for their own use.
Look on google maps and see who is NOT on it and offer to help them get set up. It's not hard to figure out if you do not already know. Everyone with a local business should be on Google Maps. You might not get $$ from this, but maybe. Or food or lodging or whatever else the business has. At least you have a good reason to talk to them.
