[Homeless] Daily Update #3 - (Day 4 - Finally found a place to setup camp!)

Eagle, CO

After days of breakdowns, problems with my van and disappointments I finally limped my dying van to Eagle, CO. About 5 miles east of Eagle on US 6 (runs parallel to Interstate 70) there is a pull off just big enough for one vehicle (me). I got me a camp setup right on the banks of the Colorado River....W00T W00T

I am so glad to hear that Richard. I know that you have a lot to do as you mentioned your plans earlier in your posts, but try to have a rest a few days and take care of yourself. You deserved that after such a long and difficult journey.

We all follow your story and support you. I can´t wait to see you sharing your new van´s photoes. This day will come as i believe everything gonna be allright. You have many steemers supporting you @venuspcs

got 4 poles with me and tackle and flies....but the out of state fishing license is expensive ($67) for a permit

What do you have for food? What do you have to cook with? Be super careful with open fires, check here to be sure there is no fire ban or they will bust you, and you don't need the big fines https://www.eaglecounty.us/Emergency/Documents/Fire_Restriction_Chart/

Homeless = Freedom, as long as you have food and shelter your OK, follow your nose, take each opportunity as it comes, and if you are ever in dire need of something, reach out the Steemit community, there is plenty of people willing to help.

Nice! I don't know if you 've been traveling I70, but I just got an emergency release that it's closed near Glenwood Springs. Probably good you can hang by the river.

@tayken not sure how long I will be here, I am actually thinking of packing up tomorrow and trying to find a new spot....the wind is brutal here in the evenings, night, early mornings. I am afraid my camp is going to get blown away.

Oh contrare adventure is fun right now....I am meeting new people and for the most part having a blast....the fact I am homeless is a minor thought (during the daytime anyway).
