Decluttering Craft Supplies, can be one of the hardest things to do regarding Decluttering because a lot of Craft Supplies are people’s very own hobby.
But first, you got to ask these questions so you can get an idea, of what Craft Supplies to keep and get rid of.
Questions to Ask Yourself:
~Is the _________ in stable condition? Is it Damaged or Broken?
~Will I ever use _________ in the near future?
~Is this ________ something I still love doing?
~Is this _________ Significant to me or have I been keeping it for no reason?
~Is this ________ Unusable Condition?
~Do I have multiple items of the same ________?
~Is this box/bin overflowing?
~How many _________ do I truly want?
~Would someone else like this ________ better then me?
~Does it spark joy, are you Happy/Inspired when you look at the _________?
Now, you should know what to do if the answer is yes or no.
What do you do with your Craft Supplies if you don’t want them anymore?
Sell them. If you have craft supplies that are still new or in excellent condition and worth a little money, you can sell them! This can be a nice way to make a little bit of money for yourself to put towards your next craft, you would love to do! You can try selling your stuff locally at a yard sale or online on sites like Craigslist, Facebook (Facebook Groups) or (On Your Wall), EBay, or Etsy.
Donate them: If you have some usable supplies that you can’t or don’t want to sell, consider donating them to people that would be extremely happy to have them. If your supplies are appropriate for The Homeless Shelter or Woman’s Shelter. Or you could even ask one of your Family Members or Friends that would want them. You can also look online for a local crafting collector or non-profit that could use your supplies, to recycle them or give them to people in need.
Scrap Pieces of Paper: Recycle or toss them. Those tiny little scraps of paper won’t be of use to anyone, so they can be recycled. If they are designed paper see if you can donate it to someone, that would love it.
“To truly cherish the things that are important to you, you must discard those that have outlined their purpose”
