My Learning Experience With Khan Academy

Khan Academy is an online learning site that I've known for quite a while. It allows free access to learning online for everyone. It has a lot of different subjects and grades, allowing you to learn whatever topic you want (unfortunately they don't have photography).

My favorite subject is computer programing I'm not very good at it, but I enjoy making things on it. Most subjects will have a combination of videos and reading material.

There are also games and programs other people have created!

I found Khan Academy quite helpful as you can search up the subject that you might already be learning and get a lot more information and understanding of it. It also explains things in different ways so it makes a little more sense.

I have mostly been doing programming; with the first video you learn how to do circles using an ellipse command. Then you learn coordinates of where you want your shape. Once you learn how to make circles appear you learn about line commands rectangles, triangles etc.

Once you've finished learning the shapes you can start on colouring, stroke, thickness and more!

Here is a snowman that I created.

While learning subjects, you earn points which you can use to change your Khan Academy profile icon. You also earn badges which will gain you more points.

This looks like a great tool! I hope it's still around when my kids start school, whichbis several years away. Looks like you're doing better at programming than you'd like to admit. I took a few orogramming courses myself and there are a lot if components and concepts to understand to make everything work together. Great job! -Aimee

Thank you! :)
