Welcome to the second part of my #homesontheroad series about people living in vans - campers - trucks or other kinds of moving homes!
Today we meet
Lisa and Fabian
In Alferce, Portugal
Lisa and Fabian are 26 and 28 years old and both from Germany.
This mobile home was a great example of German efficiency!
They bought the van second hand and spend 3/4 of a year to convert it into their dream camper van!
It is complete with 400 Watts of solar power, compost toilet, fridge, handy sliding shelves and a beautiful kitchen with a very nice wooden kitchen table.
After building the van, they quit their office- and mechanic- jobs (to maybe return, but probably not!) to travel Europe for one year and then return to Germany, hopefully with a fresh vision of what to do next!
Thank you Lisa and Fabian for sharing your home and story and good luck on your journey!
Thank you for reading and follow me for more stories about people living in vans!
Nice photo!

Hey Freja,
NIce to see the inside of their camper for the first time and hear the story of people that I've met but didn't really (get to) talk to.
Please keep them coming!
Hugs from our camper place to the North,
Vincent
