Test welding wall battens
The weather cleared up so I could try welding the top hat batten to the wall as a test.

    Mate, I would double insulate - more expensive but you will be happy you did later on. Spot glue Aircell to the walls and ceiling and then stuff with Batts behind the Gyprock. Maybe R1.5's on the wall and R3.0's for the ceilings.
    The reason I suggest this is not just for temperature insulation but also for noise reduction.
    Worked well for me with steel walls.
